LockItHub is built around a simple idea: your data stays yours. The hub is designed to process and store your data locally, in your home, under your control.

Data stored on your hub

Sensor data, recordings, photos, notes, automations and similar content are stored on your local LockItHub device. We do not mine, sell, or share this content. Access to it is controlled by you and your network.

Data we may process

• Account & support: if you contact us or register, we process the details you provide to respond and provide support.
• Optional cloud features: some optional features (for example certain AI assistance) may send limited data to third-party services only when you enable them. You can choose to keep these disabled.
• Website: this site may use basic analytics and standard server logs.

Third-party services

When you enable an optional integration (for example a Matter device, or an AI feature), data necessary for that feature may be shared with the relevant provider under their terms and privacy policies. We encourage you to review them.

Your choices

You control which sensors, cameras, recordings and optional cloud features are active. You can disable optional features and delete locally-stored data from your hub.

Security

We aim to protect your data, but no system is perfectly secure. You are responsible for securing your hub, accounts and home network.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a new date.
